Job summary

SGI in London seeks a Senior Full Stack Developer to build analytical and trading applications behind its global operations. You will work closely with traders, business users, and senior stakeholders on an in-house trading platform, using data and analytics to support decisions across global energy markets.

You’ll contribute across the full development lifecycle, interact with end users, and help shape architecture while delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of commercial software development experience
• Solid React and modern front-end development experience
• Experience building trading tools or analytics applications in a trading environment
• Experience with commodities, energy trading or financial markets
• Strong SQL and relational database experience
• Experience working with APIs and enterprise-scale applications
• Strong stakeholder management and direct engagement with business users
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Interest in functional and commercial aspects of technology

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance analytical applications for global commodities trading
• Develop full-stack solutions using C#/.NET and React
• Collaborate with traders and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technology
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle
• Ensure scalable, testable, maintainable applications
