Job summary

Insight Global in Central London is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join the Operational Tooling team on a rolling contract with conversion potential. The role blends frontend and backend work to build, monitor, and govern financial indices across the ecosystem.

This position is roughly 60% frontend (React) and 40% backend (Java/Spring Boot) with AWS hosting and AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while upholding security and quality.

Qualifications

• Must have full stack development experience.
• Experience building React front-ends.
• Enterprise Angular experience preferred.
• Strong Java/Spring Boot backend experience.
• Experience building/consuming REST APIs.
• Familiarity with GraphQL.
• Proficient with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Experience deploying to AWS environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop modern front-end applications using React, while maintaining and improving Angular components.
• Build and maintain Java Spring Boot services and APIs to support workflows.
• Collaborate with product, UX, QA and platform teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Create dashboards, grids, and reporting tools for complex datasets.
• Leverage AI-assisted tooling to accelerate delivery with governance and security.
