Job summary

Wave Group in London is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to own features from user discovery to production delivery, focusing on TypeScript, React, and AI-powered functionality. You'll work with a small team and founders to shape the product direction.

The role demands hands-on experience across a TS stack, backend depth, and prior startup/scale-up exposure, plus the ability to contribute to live data workflows and secure vetting requirements.

Qualifications

• 4 to 9 years of production TS/React experience.
• Strong backend depth in Node (NestJS a plus).
• Startup/scale-up experience shaping product scope.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs or AI systems.
• Ability to obtain UK security vetting and right to work.

Responsibilities

• Own features end to end, from user input to production shipping.
• Build LLM-powered and real-time features, including voice and live data workflows.
• Work across a modern TS stack (React, Next.js, Node, NestJS) backed by Postgres and AWS.
• Collaborate directly with founders, influencing technical and product direction.
