Job summary

Vialto Partners is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build and scale enterprise web applications for Compensation Collection, Shadow Payroll, and Equity. You will work across Next.js/React with TypeScript on the frontend and C#/.NET on the backend, delivering Azure-native solutions for cross-border payroll and equity processing.

You will design API-driven services, implement AI-powered features, and contribute to secure, compliant architectures in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development in enterprise web apps/services.
• Experience with Next.js/React (TypeScript) including state management and performance optimization.
• Strong backend in C#/.NET (ASP.NET, WebAPI, MVC) and API design.
• Azure cloud experience with PaaS services and operational tooling.
• Experience in regulated/compliance environments (security, privacy, data handling).
• Strong engineering fundamentals: design patterns, scalable architecture, accuracy in calculations.
• Experience with AI-driven development workflows and AI APIs/tools.
• Experience building AI-enabled features and AI-augmented UX.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering; Master's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop modern web experiences for Compensation Collection, Shadow Payroll, and Equity using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Design and implement backend services and APIs in C#, .NET, WebAPI.
• Deliver Azure-native calculation engines and data processing pipelines.
• Contribute to multi-country payroll, compensation, and equity architecture.
• Ensure production readiness: logging, monitoring, alerts, reconciliation tooling.
• Apply secure development practices for sensitive data.
• Collaborate with product and subject-matter experts to translate requirements into technical plans.
• Use AI coding agents to accelerate SDLC across the project.
• Write detailed specifications guiding human and AI implementation.
• Design AI-powered features: data extraction, anomaly detection, LLM-assisted workflows, and RAG.
• Evaluate and integrate AI APIs/models within architectures.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and pairing.
