Job summary

Corgi is hiring a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer in London to lead design and development for insurance tech platforms. You will own large technical initiatives across underwriting, claims, finance, compliance, and internal tooling, partnering with leadership to automate workflows and scale operations.

You will work in a fast-moving environment with significant ownership, influencing architecture and engineering standards while solving complex problems and delivering production-ready

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain critical internal and customer-facing software systems.
• Lead the development of backend services, APIs, and scalable infrastructure.
• Own major projects from architecture through deployment and ongoing maintenance.
• Work across the stack to rapidly ship products and features.
• Partner with operations, finance, underwriting, and leadership teams to automate workflows.
• Improve system reliability, performance, security, and scalability.
• Make architectural decisions and establish engineering best practices.
• Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar across the team.
• Help shape the future direction of our engineering organization.
