The role

We are looking for someone to help us grow our system to meet user demand. Our stack spans many technologies (front-end, backend, edge-computing), and you will be responsible for a significant part of our front-end and backend development.

This involves:

• Designing and implementing new backend APIs and collaborating with the edge team.
• Developing user-facing front-end interfaces in coordination with the product team.
• Ensuring system scalability and full observability.
• Delivering high-quality features, conducting thorough testing, and debugging issues.
• This is a 5-day-a-week in-office role.

Requirements and experience we are looking for

• 3+ years of industry experience with building systems of reasonable scale.
• Familiarity and experience with our main backend technologies.
• Knowledge of either Python or Go.
• Experience with databases such as Postgres, Redis.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies including Typescript, React, react-query, build tools, and React component libraries.
• Bonus: Experience with infrastructure-as-code solutions like Pulumi on AWS.
• Bonus: Platform engineering (C++) or video streaming experience.
• High intrinsic motivation and the ability to work diligently.
