Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with both frontend and backend teams to bring product features to life
• Take ownership of migrating key features from our Flutter-based app to the new web platform
• Support backend integration for the web application and work cross-functionally to ensure smooth delivery
• Maintain, deploy, and continuously improve the web application with a focus on performance and user experience
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code to a high standard
• Optimise our applications for speed, scalability, and long-term sustainability

• Open to feedback and eager to grow within a fast-paced, evolving product team

Technical Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in Node.js for backend development
• Experience with React.js frameworks, including Next.js, for frontend builds
• Strong knowledge of GraphQL and API architecture
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and robust database design
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and data structures
• Ability to reason through complexity, with strong decision-making around performance and scalability
• Exposure to AI/LLM technologies (e.g. Gemini) and enthusiasm to explore their potential in product
• Bonus experience in: Google Cloud Platform (GCP, Flutter and NestJS
