Main Responsibilities

1. Develop frontend applications using NextJS, React, and related technologies.
2. Develop backend applications using NodeJS within a serverless architecture.
3. Promote communities of practice and development standards within our team.
4. Participate actively in agile ceremonies like retrospectives, sprint planning, and stand-ups.
5. Collaborate on creating new solutions for our expanding tech stack.
6. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
7. Mentor and coach junior team members.

Required Experience

1. Strong organizational and time management skills.
2. Ability to work independently and proactively within a team.
3. Solution design skills, considering performance and security requirements.

Significant Commercial Experience

• Development of serverless applications (preferred).
• Development of REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and PGAdmin or similar relational databases.
• Experience in a DevOps environment, including containerization, deployment, and scaling using CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in the insurance sector or other highly regulated industries.
• Experience with Salesforce integration.

Please note: This is a hybrid role requiring on-site work in Cardiff several days per week.
