Job summary

DNA requires an experienced Full Stack Developer for a greenfield project in Portsmouth. You’ll build a new TypeScript codebase from the first commit, delivering end-to-end work across service layers and front-end interfaces on containerised infrastructure.

You’ll work with independence and help set engineering standards. Must-have skills include 5+ years of software development, strong TypeScript, React, REST with Node.js, PostgreSQL, and rigorous testing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong TypeScript on front-end and back-end.
• Experience with React, modern CSS, and WCAG 2.2 AA.
• Node.js REST APIs and PostgreSQL schema design.
• Extensive unit, integration and end-to-end testing.
• Git and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred).

Responsibilities

• Build features end to end in a greenfield TS codebase.
• Integrate with services, queues and databases.
• Turn designs into responsive, accessible interfaces.
• Design and optimise PostgreSQL schemas and queries.
• Own code through production: CI/CD, containers, debugging.
• Contribute to technical direction and architectural decisions.
