Job summary

Debenhams Group is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to help build and maintain internal applications powering the business. You will work across the full stack with React on the front end and Node.js on the back end, deploying to AWS in an event-driven setup.

You’ll design, implement and test code, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help resolve live environment issues while contributing to continuous improvement of practices and tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full stack experience building and maintaining applications
• Proficiency in React and Node.js with RESTful APIs
• Commercial experience with AWS fundamentals and CI/CD tooling
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases
• Experience with Git and collaborative version control in an Agile/Scrum team

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain internal applications across the full stack
• Collaborate with Team Lead, Product and engineers to translate requirements into software
• Investigate and resolve live environment issues and improve team practices
• Contribute to deployment and infrastructure as code using Terraform and AWS services
