Job summary

Lowgile AG in Switzerland is seeking a Senior Developer to shape a powerful Low-Code platform. You will build features for end-user applications using TypeScript, Angular, and NodeJS, balancing backend and frontend work while driving architectural decisions.

You will explore AI integrations, automate processes, and collaborate with our CTO and a Swiss-based team to deliver scalable solutions. The role offers flexible location and hands-on problem solving in a fast-growing technology environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and web technologies.
• Experience with AI models / LangChain and frontend/backend work.
• Familiarity with Angular 22 / Angular Material and REST/OData integrations.
• Strong English communication and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features for the Lowgile platform using TS, Angular, and NodeJS.

Introduction

In this position, you bring new features and improvements to our Low-Code platform "Lowgile". Our Low-Code platform is the backbone for developing business applications for our clients (e.g. an application to handle the procure-to-pay process). Are you passionate about actively shaping a modern product and using various hands-on technologies to solve real business problems? Do you want to elevate business applications to the next level through AI, automations, integrations, processes and more?

Your daily work

• You use your experience of a very broad spectrum of technologies and your creativity to find re-usable solution approaches to business problems our clients face (e.g. how to automate processing of incoming order e-mails using AI and SAP).
• You build new features for the Lowgile platform that will enable even more powerful end-user applications to be developed on Lowgile.
• You work both on the backend (TypeScript, NodeJS v26+) and the frontend (TypeScript, Angular v22+, Angular Material).
• You constantly think about features that would make creating Low-Code applications even easier to create and use (e.g. integration of AI in business processes and development processes, creating a PDF with a single line of code, reading QR codes, chatbot integration, etc.).
• You experiment with technologies such as AI to find how they can best be integrated into business processes to automate mundane tasks and bring immediate value.
• You evaluate, introduce and use technologies at the core of Lowgile (e.g. Kubernetes, Helm, PostgreSQL, TypeORM, LangChain, tRPC and many NPM packages).
• You understand business requirements and use your creative thinking to develop and implement technical solution concepts. You support our project delivery team when complex features are needed on client projects.
• You build modern business applications for our clients using the Lowgile platform and your solid knowledge of HTML, (S)CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Depending on your previous experience, you take on the role of a technical team lead and Scrum Master, in collaboration with our CTO.

Who you are

• You have a bachelor’s or master's degree in Computer Science, SoftwareEngineering or a similar skillset.
• You have a solid understanding of a broad range of technologies (primarily interesting: JavaScript/TypeScript,HTML, (S)CSS, NodeJS, Angular v22 / Angular Material, AI models / LangChain,service integration via OData / REST).
• You have excellent conceptual thinking and can find creative and easy solutions to hard problems. Knowledge of good UX principles is a plus.
• You prefer hands-on trial & error over rigid design documents.
• You know how to make great use of both AI and your software architecture skills.
• You have worked for 4+ years (6+ years for Senior Developer) in software development using relevant technologies.
• Ideally, you have previous experience in using other Low- Code development platforms (e.g. Appian, Power Platform, ServiceNow, OutSystems) and know their short comings / where they are a good fit.
• You are a team player with excellent communication skills in English. German skills are a plus.
• You have an independent and very creative working & problem-solving style.
