Job role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Web Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Developer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of our collaborative, real-time platform called OnePlan. This platform provides a comprehensive suite of event planning, visualisation, and management tools, combining the best features canvas and mapping technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop full‑stack features using Python (Django) and React, building on, maintaining and scaling our frontend and backend applications.
• API & service development : design, implement, and maintain REST APIs; ensure robust integrations and clear documentation.
• Test-first development : practise Test Driven Development, and write and maintain BDD test scenarios (using Gherkin syntax)
• Collaborate with fellow engineers, product and design to deliver high-quality solutions, contribute to architectural decisions, drive tech stack improvements and product evolution.
• Geospatial and mapping features : build and maintain interactive canvas and mapping features leveraging GIS and canvas tools (e.g. Esri, Konvajs)
• Code review & knowledge sharing : participate in PR reviews, mentoring, and knowledge transfer across team members.
• Commercial and product thinking : contribute to roadmap and product direction, balancing technical excellence with customer and business value
• Observability & optimisation : monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, identify performance bottlenecks, and help manage technical debt.

Your profile:

• 5+ years in full‑stack software engineering roles with Python & React.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on Python and Django for REST API development.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on React development, excellent understanding of Zustand, Vitest, React testing library and Playwright, responsive UI best practices.
• Experience working with geospatial data and/or canvas/WebGL tools.
• Excellent understanding and experience of writing automated tests: TDD practitioner, does not leave code untested.
• Skilled in relational database design (PostgreSQL); familiarity with NoSQL is a plus.
• Experience or familiarity with integrating AI/ML is a plus.
• Solid grasp of CI/CD, containerisation, continuous delivery and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to align technical decisions with product goals, commercial awareness, and stakeholder engagement.
• Effective in teamwork, code review, agile ceremonies, product collaboration, mentoring
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools is highly welcomed.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
