Job summary

Spreadmonitor is seeking a senior full-stack developer to work across projects from planning to delivery. You will help estimate, plan technically and ensure deadlines are met, while mentoring the lone junior developer on the project.

The role emphasises strong NodeJS, databases, Angular, and testing, with a hands-on approach using GitHub, Jest, Cypress, and CI/CD on Azure/Heroku.

We are looking for a senior full-stack developer to work on our various projects. Your job will be to take part in projects during their entire life-cycle. This includes the responsibilities of estimation, technical planning and ensuring deadlines are met on the project.

As a senior developer we expect you to share your deep knowledge with the team and mentor the (only) junior developer on the project.

We Expect You To Have

• deep understanding of NodeJS
• deep understanding of how databases work (Postgres & MSSQL)
• solid understanding of how to write effective SQL queries
• solid knowledge of HTML and (S)CSS
• at least ~1 year work-experience with Angular 2
• at least ~2 years work-experience with backend development
• experience with unit, integration and e2e testing
• able to manage the work of other developers on a project
• good communication skills both in Hungarian and English
• experience in code-reviews and mentoring
• you strive for perfection but can accept realities of a given situation
• problem solver attitude, everything is a challenge for you

It's a Plus If You

• know what continuous integration and continuous delivery is
• experience with any other frontend frameworks beside Angular
• sense of beauty for UI and basic UX
• experience with Azure in any area (storage, serverless, VMs)
• know Python or Java
