At Xe, we live currencies. We provide a comprehensive range of currency services and products, including our Currency Converter, Market Analysis, Currency Data API, and quick, easy, secure Money Transfers for individuals and businesses. We leverage technology to deliver these services through our website, mobile app, and by phone. Last year, we helped over 300 million people access information about the currencies that matter to them, and over 225,000 people used us to send money overseas.

About This Role

Xe.com is a high-traffic site with around 250M visitors every year. We are looking for several energetic and ambitious mid and senior full-stack developers to join a new team tasked with channeling many more new customers through our FX trading platform.

Your team will build and own a new mobile app and web platform over a common trading API. To succeed this year, your team must deliver a robust, highly available trading platform to increase our customer base, number of trades, and revenue share on time and with quality.

In this role, you will work in an Agile environment to deliver and own a new App or Web customer journey with a shared, headless API back-end.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Own the design, development, testing, and deployment of new Xe Consumer App and/or Web using VueJs and C#.NetCore.
• Deliver quality code and CI/CD pipelines within 3 months to enable ongoing updates.
• Continuously learn new skills and technologies.
• Contribute to a team that excites millions of end users, increasing revenue through App or Web by 20%.
• Work on a weekly cadence delivering continuous value.
• Develop in-depth technical understanding of new applications and complex technologies quickly.
• Have 5+ years of professional experience developing and releasing Web or Mobile experiences in an Agile environment with automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Possess strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Be experienced in VueJs, React, Angular, JavaScript, C#, or Node.js, following best development practices.
• Experience in building Microservice Architectures using ReST or GraphQL, .Net Core v3.
• Maintain a strong can-do attitude.

Desirable

• Delivered production-level apps using Ionic, Cordova, or similar, with React or Angular.
• Experience in Fintech or web/mobile agency environments, with some exposure to Enterprise.
• Experience deploying into AWS using native services like SQS, DynamoDB, Aurora, Kinesis, Lambdas.
• Knowledge of Event Source Architectures and Eventual Consistency models.
• Polyglot programming in Java, GoLang, Scala, PHP, Python.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
