Job summary

Arcus Search is partnering with an AI‑driven technology company to hire an experienced Frontend Engineer. You will own the production React application and steer frontend architecture across web and mobile, shaping technical direction and delivery.

You will work closely with backend and ML engineers to build, deploy and monitor features, driving reliability and performance with a small, autonomous team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with React in production environments.
• Ability to take ownership of an existing production application.
• Cross‑platform development experience across web and mobile.
• Experience owning CI/CD pipelines and production deployments.
• Comfortable making architectural decisions independently.
• Experience integrating frontend apps with REST APIs.
• Strong problem-solving and rapid issue resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of an existing production React application.
• Drive frontend development across web and mobile platforms.
• Analyse inherited codebase and plan refactors or redesigns as needed.
• Define long-term frontend architecture and technical roadmap.
• Deliver new features while improving maintainability and performance.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and deployments.
• Own deployments to production for web and mobile apps.
• Improve monitoring, observability and production reliability.
• Collaborate with backend and ML engineers to integrate services.
