Synthesia, the world’s leading AI video platform, seeks a Senior Frontend Engineer for the Website team to own the component library, content model and rendering stack powering synthesia.io. You’ll shape direction and make key technical decisions, with a focus area of your own but context across the system.

This hands-on role emphasizes building a scalable, accessible, on-brand marketing site with SEO, performance and localisation across nine locales.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a software engineer, incl. 3+ years senior frontend experience on content/marketing platforms.
• Ownership of a Sanity content model with opinions on references vs embedded objects.
• Deep frontend: HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and component API design.
• Comfort with end-to-end ownership: SSR, serverless, edge runtimes, API routes, and a SQL DB.

Responsibilities

• Build, scale and evolve the section library: Astro components, Sanity schemas and design tokens.
• Own the content model to ensure editors/agents can build correct pages by construction.
• Take Figma specs to production: responsive, accessible across devices, aligned with design intent.
• Extend the platform for AI-assisted development to generate on-brand sections from a spec.
