Base pay range

Senior Frontend Engineer - FinTech - Remote based

• Location: Fully remote based in the UK
• £70,000 - £80,000 base + package (stock options, flexi hours, electric vehicle salary sacrifice)

We are working with a fast-growing B2B Fintech company building a cutting-edge data management platform for the capital markets industry. This is a senior hands-on engineering role for a front-end engineer who wants ownership of projects from development through to production.

Your responsibilities include:

• Taking your implementations from concept to production and providing support
• Designing, building, and maintaining scalable, high-quality features that align with business goals while ensuring performance, security, and maintainability

You will also:

• Write tests for all code you deliver and adhere to best practices/standards, ensuring high-quality code
• Implement and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests, working closely with the existing architecture team
• Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to uphold high coding standards
• Optimize and refactor existing code to improve maintainability and scalability

Senior Frontend Engineer Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience building front-end applications
• Strong technical skills in one or more of the following languages: TypeScript, JavaScript
• Familiarity with Node.js is a plus but not mandatory
• Passion for writing clean, maintainable, well-tested code
• Experience with Git, source control, and CI/CD best practices
• Curiosity about new working methods and openness to different approaches and ideas
