We're now recruiting a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Investcentre team and help enhance our award-winning platform. You will join a team committed to continuous improvement and engineering excellence.
What does the job involve?
- Applying agile methodologies and a passion for continuous improvement in a high-performance engineering team
- Designing and delivering high-quality products with the team
- Pair programming with team members as part of our collaborative culture
Competence, knowledge, and skills
- Expertise in building modular, reusable components for SPAs with frameworks like Angular, React, Vue, Svelte, etc.
- Experience with version control tools such as GitHub, BitBucket, or GitLab
- Experience with UI frameworks like Bootstrap, Tailwind, Material, etc.
- Knowledge of frontend styling paradigms such as BEM, CSS modules, CSS-in-JS
- Familiarity with frontend tooling, particularly Node.js and npm
- Experience in writing unit tests
- Interest in asynchronous and event-based frontend tools like RxJS, Ngrx, Redux
- Ability to write end-to-end journey tests using tools like Cypress, Nightwatch, WebdriverIO, Protractor
- Understanding of Web APIs
- Experience resolving inconsistencies across browsers and platforms
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices
- Understanding of principles behind high-performance web pages
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- High motivation, drive, and enthusiasm
- Experience in e-commerce and/or financial services
