Job Brief:

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Core development team. As a team member, you will play a role in building, maintaining, designing, and implementing new and current features on both the iOS and Android platforms. Building product and innovative features is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required. We are looking for candidates that are self‑motivated and eager to learn new technologies, work well both within a team and on their own, and have an attention to detail.

Job Description:

• Development of the frontend architecture including creating and maintaining core mobile components.
• Work with other senior engineers to drive and deliver on our product roadmap, turning rough specs into features.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to other frontend mobile engineers on the team.
• Find elegant solutions to usability problems. Build pixel‑perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both all our frontend platforms.
• Engineer new features that can work seamlessly across all of maintained web and mobile applications.
• Leverage APIs for integrations with other platforms.

Job Specification:

• At least 5 years of commercial experience with JavaScript and TypeScript and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax, React, React Native and GraphQL
• Must have mobile development experience
• Product minded: committed to building the best user experience.
• Understand the trade‑offs in employing different engineering solutions to a problem, valuing pragmatism over idealism.
• Eager and open to learning.
• General understanding of Swift, Objective‑C and Java.
• Understanding the standards and rules regulated by the Apple Developer/Connect system.
• Have an app hosted publicly in the Google or Apple app store(s).
