You’ll join our Micro Space team and together with this team you will be developing world class retail space planning tools incorporated in our RELEX Space & Assortment platform that helps our customers to plan and operate more efficiently.

Micro Space is a growing feature team with people skilled in product management, backend and frontend implementations, testing and UX design. We build tools for store managers, micro space (shelve) planners and merchandisers to visualize and optimize both the layouts of the stores, as well as the products and categories in them. In this team, your work will involve designing and developing new features such as importing architectural drawings into a cloud-based editor. For new development, you'll have a say in the technologies we choose and the architectural decisions we make. As in all RELEX S&A teams, you'll deploy infrastructure together with a dedicated DevOps team, automate tests with support from QA, as well as do code reviews and collaborate with your fellow developers.

What you’ll bring to the table:

• A few years of hands-on experience in software development
• Experience with React and related best practices
• Knowledge of NodeJS and TypeScript
• Experience with big codebases to debug, improve, and maintain
• Disciplined and professional attitude towards software quality
  
  

We consider as an advantage if you have experience with:

• C# and .NET Core on the backend
• DevOps, knowledge of scripting languages (bash, PowerShell) or creating CI/CD pipelines (with Gitlab)
• Microservices architecture
• Cloud services (preferably Azure)
