Senior Frontend Developer

We are looking for someone to join our development team as a Senior Frontend Engineer. We are a small team that uses agile ways of working to deliver a service that works for all our users and service operators.

The salary on offer is up to £85k. This job is available part-time, as a job-share, or full-time. This is a remote position, but applicants must be based in the UK.

Requirements

1. Development – proven experience producing clean, working code understood by peers.
2. Agile ways of working – active participation and understanding of agile principles.
3. Remote working – experience collaborating with remote team members.
4. Start-up environment – ability to thrive in smaller teams with diverse responsibilities.
5. Technologies – experience designing and building single-page applications with modern front-end technologies.
6. Must Have: Git, HTML, CSS, Typescript, React, REST APIs
7. Nice to Have: Figma, Storybook, MUI, React Native, React Query
8. Amazing to Have: gRPC, Connect RPC, Datadog, Chromatic
9. Effective communication – ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
10. Maximising potential – facilitate productive technical discussions and outcomes.
11. Responsibility – handle ambiguity and act responsibly with appropriate risks.
12. Willingness to share – share knowledge internally with peers and stakeholders.
13. Organisation – break down complex technical proposals into manageable tasks.
