Understanding Recruitment is partnering with a fast-growing AI start-up in London to hire a Lead Full Stack Engineer. You will design, develop and scale a core AI-powered platform, taking ownership of architecture and technical direction while leading a small team.

You’ll collaborate closely with the founders and Head of Engineering, applying React, Next.js, Node.js and NestJS to build scalable APIs and microservices in a hands-on leadership role.

• Strong commercial experience with React and Next.js.
• Excellent knowledge of Node.js and NestJS.
• Experience leading engineers while remaining hands-on.
• Experience building scalable applications, APIs and microservices.
• Exposure to AI, LLMs or agentic AI development.

We are currently working with an exciting, fast-growing AI start-up that is looking for a talented Lead Full Stack Engineer to join its expanding engineering team.

The company is developing an innovative AI-powered platform designed to transform the property management industry, using intelligent automation and agentic AI to revolutionise how businesses operate.

As the Lead Full Stack Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing and scaling the company's core platform. You'll work closely with the Head of Engineering and founders, taking ownership of technical decisions, building scalable applications and helping lead a small team of talented engineers.

• Strong commercial experience with React and Next.js
