Job summary

Model ML in London is seeking an experienced Front-End Engineer to own the front-end craft across our product. You will report to the Head of Engineering, and shape the patterns, rules, and quality that power our UI across the platform.

We expect 5+ years of front-end experience, deep fundamentals, and the ability to reason about performance and architecture beyond standard libraries. You will mentor peers, guide design-system decisions, and ship features end-to-end in a fast-growing enterprise

Qualifications

• 5+ years of front-end experience with deep fundamentals.
• Able to explain underlying tech choices and avoid drifting to libraries.
• Strong architecture and design judgment with performance focus.

Responsibilities

• Own the front-end architecture and the shared pattern library.
• Define guidelines and review gates for agentic tooling.
• Own performance for dense, data-heavy views with live outputs.
• Set and maintain the review bar for front-end work.
• Maintain the component library and design system with branding.
• Make framework decisions and defend trade-offs.
• Ship features end to end from UI to production.
• Mentor engineers who focus on areas beyond front-end.
