Gap Personnel Limited is seeking a Senior Web Developer in Wrexham to lead frontend initiatives and own user‑facing applications. This hands‑on role delivers high‑quality UI across multiple platforms in a fast‑paced environment.

You will collaborate with backend teams, designers, and stakeholders, while mentoring a junior frontend developer and ensuring performance and accessibility standards are met.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in building and maintaining high-quality web applications.
• Strong proficiency with React.js and Next.js in production.
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
• Experience with TypeScript and modern JS tooling.
• Familiarity with headless CMS platforms such as Strapi.
• Git for source control and collaborative development.

Responsibilities

• Own maintenance and development of web apps and websites for reliability and performance.
• Implement bug fixes, enhancements, and new features across platforms.
• Build new websites and front-end tools from scratch.
• Translate designs into responsive, accessible UIs.
• Mentor a junior front-end developer and promote code quality.
• Collaborate with backend teams and designers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
