Eventogy in London is seeking a highly skilled Next.js Front-End Developer to lead the rebuild of our SaaS platform. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to design efficient, future-proof interfaces and embed AI-assisted development practices using Cursor and Claude.

You will contribute to architecture decisions, drive code quality, and ensure scalable, high-performance frontend experiences while working in a hybrid setup based in London, with a salary of £55,000-60,000.

Qualifications

• Proven 5+ years as a React.js/Next.js developer, preferably on a SaaS product.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Git and modern frontend tooling.
• Ability to convert designs into high-quality, reusable code.
• Experience in agile methodologies and collaborative cross-functional work.

Front-End Developer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Next.js Developer to join the front-end team and drive forward the rebuild of our platform. If you are enthusiastic about creating high-quality, user-friendly applications and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you.

While we have highly skilled developers within our teams, your role will be to provide a more holistic view to our product offering. You will be working with our dev team to design efficient and future-proof interfaces, acting as a key driver for the front-end architecture. You will also be expected to leverage AI-assisted development tooling including Cursor and Claude to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, and embed intelligent development practices across the team.

Requirements

• Drive forward the development of the frontend of our platform using React.js and Next.js (14+)
• Convert designs and wireframes into high-quality code
• Optimise applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness
• Ensure consistent implementation of brand and design guidelines across all platforms
• Develop and maintain reusable code and libraries for future use
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the seamless functioning of applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and user experience
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted development practices, including Cursor and Claude, across the engineering team

What are the role requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a React.js/Next.js Developer, preferably working on a SaaS product
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency using AI coding tools such as Cursor and Claude to write, review, refactor, and document code efficiently
