Senior Front End Developer / Engineer (JavaScript Vue.js) London to £100k

Do you enjoy working with a range of programming languages?

You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on Front End Developer role at a scale-up tech company that enables smart matching for commercial van drivers and consumers via job bidding and route optimisation, streamlining processes and delivering CO2 carbon neutral targets. The company has been established for 10 years and recently received funding of £125 million.

You'll work on complex and interesting systems and enjoy a range of benefits and perks.

As a Senior Front End Developer, you'll collaborate as part of an Agile technology team to design, develop, troubleshoot, and solve complex software issues to help scale and future-proof the business. You'll focus on front-end components using JavaScript and Vue.js. The tech stack also includes TypeScript, Node.js, Java, Python, and some legacy PHP. You'll be encouraged to explore new technologies, use the best tool for the job, and own your own DevOps and deployment.

There's an emphasis on delivering immediate business impact alongside long-term strategy.

Location / WFH:

The role offers a hybrid working model with three days a week in the Hammersmith office and two days remote. When in the office, enjoy onsite gym facilities, barista coffee, and free breakfast.

About you:

• You have strong front-end JavaScript development skills.
• You have experience with JavaScript frameworks; Vue.js is used, but Angular or React experience is also acceptable.
• You are product-focused with good business acumen.
• You possess good knowledge of APIs and an in-depth understanding of web development practices, tools, and technologies.
• You enjoy learning and picking up new skills.
• You are flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
• You have full software development lifecycle experience, including CI/CD and testing.
• You are collaborative with Agile team experience and are happy to mentor junior developers.
• You are likely degree-educated in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline.
