Job summary

Luxoft in the United Kingdom is seeking a Frontend Engineer to contribute to the design and development of AI-enabled solutions for a signal-driven commercial intelligence platform.

You will collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and fellow engineers, applying AI as a primary tool to design, build, test, and support features, with a strong focus on React and Next.js within an Agile workflow.

Qualifications

• 5+ years software engineering experience with frontend focus.
• Experience with React and Next.js.
• Knowledge of Agile, TDD, unit testing, code reviews.
• Basic backend skills (services, database).
• Fluency in AI technologies and AI agents usage.
• Excellent communication within distributed teams.

SKILLS

Must have

• 5+ years software engineering experience with expertise in frontend technologies.
• Practical experience with React and preferably Next.js.
• Practical knowledge of software engineering best practices (e.g. Agile software development, test-driven development, unit testing, code reviews, design documentation).
• At least basic backend skills (services, database).
• Fluency in AI technologies and experience utilizing AI agents to design, code, and test applications.
• Outstanding communication skills, ability to establish and maintain a close working relationship with distributed team members and business partners.

Nice to have

• Backend: API, Services, SQLKnowledge of AI fundamentals and understanding of AI solutions, including orchestration and RAG.
