Job summary

Assystem seeks a senior, client‑facing leader to act as the framework and JV focal point in a Defence Infrastructure programme. You will drive multi-workstream delivery, influence governance, and ensure alignment with Assystem’s strategic objectives in a complex partnership.

You will oversee mobilisation, capability integration, and ongoing delivery while collaborating with partner organisations to secure successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Engineering or technical degree required.
• Strong understanding of UK Defence Infrastructure sector and supply chain.
• Experience in client-facing, framework or programme environments.
• Experience in joint ventures/alliance delivery models.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of framework delivery models.
• Ability to influence without direct authority across organisational boundaries.
• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Broad understanding of engineering, delivery and procurement processes.
• Ability to work independently and in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior client interface within the JV, building long-term trusted relationships.
• Represent Assystem within the joint venture and align with strategic objectives.
• Shape delivery approaches to meet evolving client needs across multiple workstreams.
• Identify and develop future opportunities within the framework.
