Job description

MMP Consultancy are working with a fantastic organisation to recruit an Senior FRA Coordinator to join them on a temporary contract based in North West London.

As Senior FRA Coordinator, you'll oversee the planning, coordination, and implementation of fire risk assessments across residential properties. You'll act as the key liaison between internal teams, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure that assessments are completed to schedule, actions are tracked, and safety compliance is maintained across all sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the FRA program and ensure assessments are carried out across all relevant properties
  • Monitor progress of remedial actions and escalate critical issues to senior leadership
  • Oversee contractor performance and ensure quality standards in assessments and follow-ups
  • Analyse FRA data and produce reports for the compliance board and regulatory authorities
  • Develop and maintain effective systems for tracking fire safety compliance
  • Support on complex or high-risk cases and provide specialist advice across the organisation
  • Prepare documentation and reports for regulatory audits and inspections
  • Deliver fire safety training and guidance to staff and stakeholders
  • Contribute to wider building safety initiatives and policy development

Ideal Candidate:

  • Significant experience in fire safety coordination, housing compliance, or building safety
  • Strong knowledge of fire risk assessment protocols and related legislation (including the Fire Safety Act and Building Safety Act)
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills
  • Confidence in communicating across internal teams, contractors, and regulators
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and database systems (e.g., housing compliance platforms)
  • Relevant certification or training in fire safety or risk management is desirable
