Job summary

Expert Employment is seeking an FPGA Design Engineer with DSP and radar system experience. You will lead hands-on FPGA architecture work, unpack requirements, coach juniors, conduct design reviews and deliver robust FPGA solutions for a client environment.

The role requires senior-level VHDL design across multiple FPGAs, with strong DSP, high-speed design, and an ability to translate complex requirements into practical implementations. This is a hands-on technical leadership position.

Qualifications

• Hands on VHDL based FPGA Design experience to Senior or ideally Principal level.
• Multiple FPGA architecture.
• Digital Signal Processing, high speed, satellite communications, ideally radar experience.
• Able to absorb, specify and champion high level requirements taking the time to appreciate and understand the application needs.

Responsibilities

• Electronic design of advanced FPGAs, from requirements, preliminary specification, test, system certification to verified design implemented and running on target hardware.
• FPGA and VHDL design reviews.
