Job summary

MAC Ltd in Southampton is seeking an electronics engineer with a broad skillset in digital design, wireless technology, embedded systems or SDR. You will work on diverse projects across the full lifecycle, from requirements capture to implementation, collaborating closely with clients.

You'll engage with cutting-edge radio systems, receive mentoring, and may lead components and proposals while developing your expertise in a dynamic, security-clearance‑friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Electronics degree from a university with a strong reputation for the subject studied.
• Full eligibility to work in the UK.
• Eligible for UKSV (SC) security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engineer tasks including developing code and designing components.
• Prepare and review technical reports and specifications, drawings, calculations and risk reviews.
• Contribute to, and lead on, progress reporting to the customer.
• Liaise, attend and contribute to customer meetings; deliver communications for stakeholders.
• Lead, design and/or manage project components.
• Mentor colleagues through guidance, coaching.
