Job summary

Modis is seeking a Financial Modelling Manager in London to lead dedicated modelling across bids, tenders and strategic planning. You will build and maintain complex Excel models, translate outputs into clear commercial insight, and partner with commercial teams on major opportunities.

The role focuses on long-term forecasting, scenario analysis, and robust governance of financial models, with exposure to high-profile projects and senior stakeholders across a global organisation.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in financial modelling and corporate finance.
• Proven ability to build complex Excel models from scratch.
• Experience supporting bids, tenders and major commercial decisions.
• Strong skills in scenario modelling and long-term forecasting.
• Ability to challenge assumptions and assess risks.
• Excellent communication of complex outputs to stakeholders.
• Structured approach to model governance and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain bid and tender models with commercial teams.
• Develop group-wide long-term forecasts and financial models.
• Support business cases, investment decisions and strategic finance initiatives.
• Perform scenario and sensitivity analysis to assess options, risks and outcomes.
• Challenge assumptions and ensure robust models for decision-making.
• Maintain clear, well-documented financial models.
• Translate modelling outputs into clear insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
