The CFO HQ is seeking an experienced Senior FP&A Manager for a fixed-term contract in Luton, with hybrid working. You will lead monthly performance reporting for the Executive Committee and Board, providing commercial insight to support decision-making.

You will manage a team of four, own key external reporting inputs, monitor performance measures, and develop financial analysis across the business. Immediate start or short-notice availability is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with PQE in FP&A or financial reporting.
• Experience delivering financial performance reporting for Executive Committee/Board-level audiences.
• Experience leading a team of four and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Strong analytical, modelling and data management skills.

• Oversee corporate performance measures, annual target setting and reporting against objectives.

Senior FP&A Manager – Fixed Term ContractLocation: Luton – HybridSalary: Circa £100,000 per annum + benefitsWe're recruiting for an experienced Senior FP&A Manager to join a large, well-established business on a fixed-term contract. This is a senior finance role offering the opportunity to work closely with Executive Committee and Board-level stakeholders, leading financial performance reporting, providing commercial insight and supporting key business decisions.We're looking for a qualified accountant who can hit the ground running, with immediate availability or the ability to start at short notice essential.### The RoleYou'll lead the delivery of financial and non-financial performance reporting, ensuring senior stakeholders have clear, accurate and commercially relevant insight to support decision-making.You'll manage a team of four and work closely with senior finance leaders, Investor Relations and the wider business, taking ownership of both internal performance reporting and key external reporting requirements.Key responsibilities will include:Leading monthly financial performance reporting for the Executive Committee and Board, including management reporting packs, balanced scorecards and supporting commentary.Owning key financial reporting inputs for trading statements and half-year and full-year results, ensuring accuracy, robust controls and effective governance.Overseeing corporate performance measures, annual target setting and reporting against agreed business objectives.Monitoring and challenging cost efficiency and performance improvement programmes, identifying risks, opportunities and areas for improvement.Managing, coaching and developing a team of four, ensuring high-quality outputs and delivery against tight deadlines.Providing competitor, market and business performance analysis to support strategic decision-making.Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Finance, Investor Relations and the wider business.Supporting ad hoc FP&A, corporate finance and strategic reporting projects as required.### About YouYou'll be a commercially minded, technically strong finance professional with proven experience operating in a fast-paced, high-profile environment. You'll be comfortable working with senior stakeholders, translating complex financial information into clear insight and challenging performance where necessary.### You'll ideally have* Full qualification as an accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).* Significant post-qualification experience in FP&A, financial reporting or a similar senior finance role.* Experience delivering financial performance reporting for Executive Committee and/or Board-level audiences.* Strong analytical, modelling and data management skills, with excellent attention to detail.* Experience managing and developing a team, alongside the ability to influence stakeholders across different levels of an organisation.* A track record of delivering accurate, high-quality reporting to demanding deadlines.* Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify key performance drivers, risks and opportunities.* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and provide meaningful recommendations.* Experience within a multi-site, consumer-facing, retail or hospitality environment would be advantageous.### The OpportunityThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior FP&A professional to take on a high-profile, senior-level assignment within a large organisation, working directly with executive stakeholders and making a tangible contribution to business performance.Location: Luton – Hybrid workingContract: Fixed termSalary: Circa £100,000 per annum + benefitsAvailability: Immediate start or short notice essentialIf you're a qualified accountant with strong FP&A and senior stakeholder experience and are available to start at short notice, we'd be keen to hear from you.
