Job summary

Harper May Limited, London-based wealth management group, is hiring its first senior FP&A leader reporting to the CFO. You will own budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis and model acquisition returns, guiding strategic decisions with commercial insight.Hybrid working in London and a focus on developing a modern data platform to accelerate leadership decisions.

You will partner with senior leaders, build KPI packs for investors, and elevate finance from reporting to strategic influence

Qualifications

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong FP&A experience, ideally in wealth management, asset management or wider financial services.
• Experience with Databricks or a similar data platform is a real advantage.
• Excellent financial modelling, including investment or acquisition appraisal.
• Confidence presenting to senior leaders and challenging the business.
• A track record of career progression and a commercial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own the annual budget, reforecasts and the longer-term financial plan.
• Build and run monthly performance reporting and KPI packs for the leadership team and investors.
• Analyse revenue, margin and adviser productivity, and explain what is driving the results.
• Model the returns on potential acquisitions and other investment decisions.
• Partner with operational and front office leaders to turn the numbers into decisions.
• Help shape the new data platform and how finance uses it.
• Improve the planning process and the tools behind it.
• Present findings clearly to senior stakeholders.
