Job summary

Ascent Recruitment Limited in Manchester City Centre is seeking a Senior FP&A Accountant to lead financial modelling, long-range planning and performance analysis for an established insurance business.

You will partner with the Senior Finance Business Partner and leadership to translate commercial drivers into forecasts, deliver scenario modelling, and support strategic decisions. The role offers high visibility and broad exposure across entities and P&L segments.

Qualifications

• Strong FP&A experience with involvement in budgeting, forecasting and planning cycles.
• Strong Excel and financial modelling capability
• Strong understanding of accrual accounting, cash flow and balance sheet drivers
• Ability to analyse large datasets and turn them into commercial insight
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budget, rolling forecasts and long-range financial planning process
• Build, maintain, and enhance financial models

Ascent Recruitment is pleased to support a well-established and growing Insurance business in Manchester City Centre that is looking to appoint a Senior FP&A Accountant.

This is a high-visibility role supporting senior leadership, with responsibility for financial modelling, long-range planning, and business performance analysis.
