Job summary

Infoplus Technologies UK Limited is seeking a senior/lead computational scientist to own client engagements, scope ambiguous problems, and guide engineers. You will work across data pipelines, backend logic, optimization, and front-end dashboards, delivering production-ready tooling that translates stakeholder needs into features.

You will blend deep engineering with client-facing maturity, collaborating across European and North American time zones, and shaping delivery standards and scalable

Qualifications

• Strong Python for data and backend work with Pandas and scientific libraries (e.g. Pyomo, Scikit-Learn).
• Experience building simulation/forecasting and KPI analytics frameworks.
• Data ingestion/transformation pipelines for time-series/market data, schema design, testing (pytest).
• Interactive dashboards for decision support (Plotly Dash, Bokeh).
• Cloud and deployment: AWS, Docker, CI/CD; familiarity with message queues (RabbitMQ) is a plus.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and exposure to NoSQL (e.g. Cassandra) and Oracle.
• Experience leading client-facing engagements and steering delivery with minimal direction.
• Ability to collaborate across time zones (EU/NA) and communicate with non-technical stakeholders.
• Advanced degree in quantitative field; English required; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own client relationships and cadence of delivery sessions.
• Translate evolving stakeholder needs into features and roadmap items.
• Lead a delivery team and set engineering standards (testing, deployment hygiene).
• Develop backend, data, and analytics tooling to production with robust validation.
