Job summary

EY is hiring for a Forensics & Integrity Services Data Analytics professional in the United Kingdom. You will apply SQL, Python and cloud-based data platforms to deliver advanced analytics for real‑world financial crime matters, collaborating with diverse teams and clients.

You will own end-to-end data work: ETL, analysis, visualization, and client delivery, mentoring junior colleagues and helping shape innovative analytics solutions using ML and large language models.

Qualifications

• Degree in a STEM field or equivalent work experience.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, Azure Data Factory and/or Databricks; strong visualization skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage work products and mentor junior team members.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with financial services clients and regulators on sensitive matters.
• Scope projects with clients and gather requirements.
• Explain analytics outputs in business contexts to clients.
• Deliver end-to-end projects: ETL, analysis, visualization, deployment, client delivery.
• Handle large structured and unstructured data from diverse sources.
• Perform data analysis using Python, SQL and Power BI.
• Supervise junior team members and ensure quality of work.
• Develop algorithms and solutions to detect and monitor financial crime areas.
• Apply analytics to prevent, detect, monitor, or investigate improper transactions or patterns.
• Create visualisation materials to present analytics benefits to clients.
• Collaborate with technology, innovation and business development teams.
