Job summary

Sedgwick in Manchester seeks a Senior Manager/Director‑level Forensic Accountant to lead complex assignments in business interruption and financial losses. You’ll steer technical quality, delivery, and client engagement while growing a specialist practice within a global platform.

You’ll work with Partners to drive market presence, manage teams, and review reports for senior stakeholders, shaping service offers and ensuring regulatory compliance in high‑value claims.

Qualifications

• Possession of a recognised accountancy credential (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA).
• Analytical ability to interrogate multifaceted claims and model financial loss.
• Demonstrated forensic leadership and client-facing credibility.
• Sector experience in Power & Energy, Marine, Construction/DSU is preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of FCA frameworks and data protection.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex forensic assignments and ensure technical quality and timely delivery.
• Oversee team resourcing, deadlines, and financial performance across the workstream.
• Lead client meetings, contribute to strategic marketing, and sign off reports for senior stakeholders.
• Develop and grow the forensic offering and strengthen insurer/law firm relationships.
• Collaborate with Partners and senior leadership to shape service offering.
