Goodman Masson are partnering with a UK regulatory body to recruit an experienced Forensic Accountant for their Enforcement Division in Birmingham. This role leads complex investigations into misconduct and accounting breaches, with high-visibility work alongside major statutory authorities.

The position offers a hybrid pattern (4 days in office every fortnight), a salary of £91,000 plus benefits, and a clear path to senior case leadership within a public-interest team.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Experience: 6–12 years in forensic accounting and complex financial investigations.
• Knowledge of e-discovery tools and financial data analysis.
• Solid understanding of audit standards and regulatory disciplinary processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial investigations and analyse large volumes of data.
• Conduct disciplinary interviews with senior figures.
• Draft expert reports for external counsel and experts.
• Cross-agency collaboration with regulatory bodies.
• Mentorship and coaching for junior staff.
