Salary: Other Band 7 : Agenda for Change Scale. The commencing salary will be within Scale commencing entry point A GBP 47,172, with increments at 2 years and 5 years to the top of scale A GBP 53,980, plus a market supplement.

Devon and Cornwall and Dorset Policing Alliance are seeking a Specialist Practitioner in Occupational Health (SCPHN) to work within an in-house Occupational Health team, delivering the full remit of Occupational Health services.
The successful candidate will be a senior member of the Occupational Health team, providing high-quality, evidence-based clinical advisory services to Managers, Staff, and Officers of Devon and Cornwall Police. Responsibilities include advising on physical and psychological fitness for work, offering general health and wellbeing guidance, and supporting internal and external customers and contractors. The role involves familiarization with various police roles and contributing to strategic and operational wellbeing initiatives.
A key aspect of the role is deputizing for the Occupational Health Nurse Consultant and potentially the Lead Occupational Health Nurse Consultant, demonstrating high standards of clinical care, providing leadership, mentorship, and clinical supervision to the Occupational Health team regarding service delivery and staff wellbeing.
