Qualifications

• Strong mechanical background with electrical fault-finding capability.
• Knowledge of BRC standards and compliance in food production.
• Experience maintaining and fault-finding on production machinery.
• Experience leading a small engineering team.
• Hands-on, proactive approach with problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to support production demands.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a small engineering team, ensuring effective day-to-day performance.
• Own engineering requirements for one production line.
• Carry out electrical and mechanical fault-finding, repairs, and maintenance.
• Drive planned and preventative maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Respond to breakdowns and collaborate with production to maintain output.
• Ensure activities meet food safety, BRC compliance, health and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate engineering records and documentation.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and reliability.
