Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Flood Risk Consultant for our Peterborough team to lead hydraulic and hydrological modelling projects across the UK, with a focus on InfoWorks ICM. You will collaborate with an international team on diverse projects, including Environment Agency work and major infrastructure schemes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in flood risk management and hydraulic modelling.
• Proficiency in InfoWorks ICM and GIS software.
• Experience with TUFLOW, Flood Modeller, or HEC-RAS is advantageous.
• Chartered status or willingness to achieve it.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead flood risk projects using InfoWorks ICM.
• Mentor junior team members and develop their skills.
• Build strong client relationships and ensure collaborative working.
• Deliver 1D-2D modelling for rivers, surface water, and coastal waters.
• Utilise GIS tools like ArcGIS, MapInfo, or QGIS.
• Support business development and client engagement.
