A leading multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join their established team in Hull. This permanent position involves leading flood risk and drainage projects, leveraging technical expertise to ensure projects meet high standards and timelines. My client, an innovative, diverse Multidisciplinary Consultancy is searching for a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join their already-established team of design engineers, near the northern maritime city of Hull.
Essential Criteria:
* A Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other relevant discipline
* Extensive experience of working with drainage strategies and flood risk projects
* Demonstrable experience of writing Flood Risk Reports, producing Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs), working with Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)
* Outstanding working knowledge of the relevant Section Agreements (including S104, S106, etc.)
* Knowledge of the relevant software packages, including TUFLOW, Flood Modeller, InfoDrainage, etc.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience of working with a team of diverse individuals, providing leadership and mentorship
* Demonstrable experience of developing and managing stakeholder relations
It would also be beneficial for applicants for the role of Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to have the following:
* Experience of project or team management
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD and other relevant 3D design software
* Excellent communication skills
* Good time management skills

* Leading a skilled team in working on a broad range of projects, developing flood risk and drainage strategies
* Delivering all projects to the highest of standards, within the given timeframes and designated budgets
* Undertaking technical analysis using the appropriate software packages
* Reviewing and approving accurate technical information, including calculations, drawings, and models
* Overseeing and managing stakeholder relations with a range of public and private clients
* Undertaking site meetings and inspections
* Contributing to projects, adhering to industry standards, designated budgets, and agreed timelines
