Job description

My client, a market-leading multidisciplinary Engineering and Planning Consultancy, is seeking a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to join their team based in York.

Requirements
  1. Strong academic background in Hydrology or Civil Engineering.
  2. Experience in Flood Risk Assessment, Surface Water Management Plans, and Drainage Strategies for Planning Applications.
  3. Civil design experience, including designing drainage systems, levels, site plans, and highways.
  4. Living near York is beneficial.
Responsibilities
  1. Work on projects spanning residential, commercial, and retail sectors for Private and Public Sector Clients and Local Authorities.
  2. Complete, review, and amend Flood Risk Assessments, Flood Estimation, and Drainage Strategies for Planning Applications.
  3. Design detailed SuDS, access roads, and highways using Infodrainage, AutoCAD, and Causeway Flow.
  4. Design sites, earthworks, cut and fill, and levels.
