Job summary

AZTRUM is seeking a Senior Hydraulic Modeller with Flood Modeller and Tuflow experience. The role supports a team of engineers and consultants across London, with hybrid or remote working options and office locations in London/North London.

A strong academic background and UK consultancy experience in flood risk and drainage engineering are preferred. Candidates should be comfortable modelling using Flood Modeller, Tuflow, and Infoworks ICM, and will engage with Local Authorities and private

Qualifications

• Experienced hydraulic modelling with Flood Modeller and Tuflow.
• Strong academic background in civil or hydraulic engineering.
• Experience with Infoworks ICM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Hydraulic modelling and model builds using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.
• Hydrological assessments and flood risk studies.
• Develop flood mitigation strategies.

Job description

Are you a Senior Hydraulic Modeller who has Tuflow and Flood Modeller experience? Would you like to join a supportive team of Engineers and Consultants, based in across London?

This can be a remote or hybrid opportunity from London or North London.

Candidates are required to have a strong academic background and experience working for a UK based Consultancy specialising in flood risk assessments and hydraulic modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow. It is also beneficial for applicants to reside near a local office and have a keen interest in climate change, flood risk modelling and drainage engineering.

Responsibilities

• Hydraulic modelling and model build using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.
• Modelling using Infoworks ICM.
• Flood risk assessments and drainage strategies.
• Hydrological assessments.
• Flood mitigation.
• Flood management action plans and improvement works.
• Natural flood management and watercourse re-alignment.
• Flood risk mapping and estimation.
• Climate change impact assessments.
• Support new team members and check technical flood risk/complex hydraulic modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.
• Frequent liaison with Private Sector Clients and Local Authorities to develop new opportunities and ensure projects are delivered to time and budget.
