Contract: Full Time

Salary: up to £13.00 per hour plus service charge and commission, (£35,000 OTE)

Champneys is a destination health spa chain with resorts and day spas located in the English counties of Bedfordshire, Cheshire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Leicestershire, and Kent.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and passionate Senior Fitness and Wellbeing Instructor to join our dedicated Fitness team.

You will work alongside an efficient and experienced team to assist in the day-to-day running of the Department/Club and ensure that the guests/members needs are met and provided with exceptional customer service at all times.

As the Senior Fitness Instructor you will supervise staff and running of the department in the absence of Management, ensuring all problems are solved with guests or members and make sure the department is meeting all targets. You will assist in continuously reviewing and updating all standards and procedures to ensure the department is running to the best of its ability. You will deliver a variety of classes and services whilst operating positively as a key member of the fitness and wellbeing team, to achieve the departmental aims and objectives.

You will exhibit good communication skills and deliver all/any department information to all guests, members and colleagues effectively and maintain discretion where appropriate. The guest experience we offer is of paramount importance to us, so you will be able to demonstrate great customer service and ensure you are polite, friendly and helpful at all times when interacting with guests and colleagues.

If you are a qualified REPS 3 instructor including two of the following: Exercise to music or equivalent, Gym Instructor award, Personal Training Award or Degree and a good overall standard of education as well as previous experience providing high quality customer service in the leisure and fitness industry or health resort environment, we would love to hear from you!
