Job summary

SR2 | Socially Responsible Recruitment | Certified B Corporation™ is seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our motor-control team in Reading, UK. You will design and implement firmware for BLDC motor controllers and collaborate across electronics and mechanical disciplines.

Role focuses on real-time, bare-metal embedded development, motor-control algorithms and robust testing to deliver high-performance drive systems for our innovative products.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Embedded Firmware Engineer.
• Strong C or C++ programming skills.
• Solid experience with bare-metal embedded development.
• Experience developing motor-control algorithms.
• Experience with real-time embedded systems.
• Exposure to power electronics or motor-control hardware.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing firmware for BLDC motor controllers.
• Working with motor-control algorithms, feedback systems and control strategies.
• Testing, validating and optimising firmware and embedded systems.
