Senior Firmware Engineer - £60 - 70k – Oxford

My client is a leading company in their niche developing sensor technology. Due to sustained success, they’re looking to grow their team.

Main Duties:
  1. Complex hardware & software development throughout the whole product cycle
  2. Designing parts for projects, managing those projects, and supervising project teams
  3. Investigate and develop ideas, suggest solutions, and identify opportunities
Skills and Experience Required:
  1. Embedded software and firmware experience (C/C++ for real-time development, ARM MCUs, RTOS, PIC)
  2. Hardware design and PCB development experience
  3. Good experience in product life cycle management (R&D, maintenance, client support)
  4. Strong background in low-level comms protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, and thread-safety in C/C++)
