Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent required.
• 8+ years of relevant work experience in digital/embedded design.
• Ability to decompose systems into hardware, software and firmware subsystems.
• C/C++ on embedded applications with some VHDL design experience.
• Experience with JTAG debugging tools and test equipment.
• Proven design development of reusable libraries for Arm MCUs or FPGA designs.
• Experience building and executing unit and integration tests.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with STM32, FreeRTOS, Agile, CI/CD, Git, GoogleTest and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the development life cycle from requirements to test.
• Develop digital architecture and design for target applications.
• Own advanced digital architecture and interfaces between hardware and software.
• Collaborate with engineers and program management to decompose system requirements.
• Perform code and design reviews of team members’ work products.
• Coordinate with cross functional teams on performance and interfaces.
• Provide engineering support to safety, QA, production and customers.
