Job summary

Goodman Masson is seeking a senior Group Fire Safety Manager to lead fire safety across a large housing portfolio in Greater Manchester. The role provides technical leadership, team management and interaction with senior stakeholders to strengthen compliance and embed safety standards.

The position requires extensive fire safety expertise, NEBOSH Fire qualifications and the ability to deliver training and guidance across projects and external partners.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in fire safety within housing.
• Strong knowledge of current fire safety legislation and standards.
• Experience leading a specialist fire safety team.

Responsibilities

• Lead Fire Risk Assessment programme and manage actions to completion.
• Provide technical advice on fire safety regulations and best practices.
• Ensure statutory inspections and fire safety checks are completed on time.
• Oversee fire safety audits, investigations and reporting.
• Develop and review fire safety policies and guidance.
• Produce management information for senior leadership.
